What I painted while experiencing a time of brokenness.
A portrait of Judah Smith’s son Zion. I gave this to Judah (my youth pastor in Seattle, WA) before I moved to Portland for Bible college. I was once taught that if you can paint the portrait of a child you can paint anything. So as I grew up, I practiced painting portraits of children.

A prayer in the form of a painting Luann did for Emi Kuroda before she left Portland.

My painting for City Bible Church’s “Together” Conference 2008.

My idea was, let the prayers of the saints be like sweet smelling incense. Painting during an all night prayer meeting. Concept is that once someone dies to their flesh, it is a sweet aroma, though painful.
